Prioritizing Mental Health as Women Biz Owners

To do our part for Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to have a frank, open conversation about mental health and how it can affect life as a product boss. There shouldn’t be any stigma when it comes to talking about these kinds of things, so conversations like this are important. No one should ever feel like they can’t reach out for help – or that they’re alone in their experience.

The Truth Is: Everybody Needs Help, Sometimes

Your biggest assets as an entrepreneur are your mind and your health. This means that your mental health is extremely important, both personally and professionally, and yet oftentimes we feel afraid to talk about it. As a society, we are starting to see mental health being talked about more… but it’s only through honest discussions like this one that we can keep making progress together.

We’ve all been through a lot of crises recently – both personally and shared thanks to the pandemic and other world events. That’s why we feel that this episode is so important. Listen to hear our personal struggles with mental health and what you can do to help keep yourself mentally healthy. Remember that pristine mental health is very rare and it shouldn't be stigmatized if you need to ask for help!
